Apple Card is planned to be released in the United States. Not yet released to the public, Apple is preparing to spread its wings to other countries. This time the country in question is Canada.
This plan was leaked after a document was submitted by Apple to the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and was registered as ‘the Cash’ on July 17, 2019 ago.
Services such as Apple Card and Apple Pay Cash, of course, need certain permissions if they are to be released in a country. If you view the applicable procedures, it takes at least 10 months before the service along with the trademark can be used.
Not quite up there, Apple also needs to work with banks for Apple Card and Apple Pay Cash services. It could be that Apple will still work with Goldman Sachs because they also have offices in Calgary and Toronto.
The release of the Apple Card may be released with the release of iOS 12.4 to the public. Currently iOS 12.4 has entered Beta 7 and it should soon be released to the public considering that Apple has focused on developing iOS 13 Beta.
