Making electronic or digital signatures has become commonplace nowadays. There are many ways to make electronic signatures on digital documents such as Microsoft Word, Pages, PDF documents, and so on.
You used to need an application to help make these digital signatures. But on macOS 10.15 Catalina, users can create signatures directly by using an iPhone or iPad.
By using the iPhone and iPad, users can use the touch screen to make digital signatures. Even if you use an iPad with an Apple Pencil, you can use an Apple Pencil to produce a signature as if writing with a pen on paper.
In addition to having to use macOS Catalina, users also need to make sure that the iPhone or iPad is at least using iOS 13. For iPhone or iPad users with iOS 12, they cannot do it.
