In addition to cellular technologies such as 4G and 5G, Wi-Fi technology certainly does not want to lose in terms of development. The latest Wi-Fi technology is now generation 6 Wi-Fi that was released a while ago.
Although the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have been introduced, but apparently all of the iPhone 11 lines have brought this Wi-Fi 6 technology.
Generation 6 Wi-Fi has 802.11ax code and has performance and speed up to 4 times higher when compared to generation 5 Wi-Fi. Not only does it offer higher speeds, Wi-Fi 6 also offers wider range.
This generation of Wi-Fi 6 was born about a year after the 5th generation Wi-Fi was present. For information, Wi-Fi technology 5 was released with the 802.11ac code, and Wi-Fi 4 technology was released with the 802.11n code. Wi-Fi 6 works at frequencies of 1 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Some of Apple’s competing products also already use this Wi-Fi 6 technology. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone and Galaxy Note 10 has also gained Wi-Fi 6 technology.
